Northern Hills Woodworkers' Guild
It has been a distinct honor for the members of our Guild to be able to say a small "Thank You"
to the brave men and women who have protected us for all of our lives.
We have a club project that builds flag cases for the spouses or families of Veterans who pass away
in the Spearfish area. We present the cases to the local Honor Guard once a year.

If you would like to help sponsor this project, please contact our Treasurer, Christie Jensen.
In the past, sponsors have each generously donated $100 toward the cost of materials.
The club members donate their time, and there is of course no cost to the Honor guard.

We have changed our case design this year (see below).
This is a design developed primarily by David Talsma, and it simplifies the joinery.
It can be wall-mounted, or placed on a flat surface.
We are working in mahogany this year.

The flag case volunteers would like to thank the following
supporters for their generous contributions of materials this year:
The great folks at the BHSU Bookstore
Jerry Bertolotto and Mike Schwartz at Key City Glass in Sturgis
Mr. and Mrs. Max Durgin of Spearfish
Andrew Vig at Wood Stock Supply in Rapid City
