Northern Hills Woodworkers' Guild

At the January meeting we will elect officers for 2011.

If you would like to help out and become an officer for a year, please let us know.
(It's easy: see below...)

We have a great club with very active membership, but to continue that tradition we need your help.
Please consider running for one of the offices.
The duties don't take a lot of time, and being involved is a great way to keep in touch with everyone.

To become a candidate, all you have to do is...

President:
Presides over monthly meetings and creates the agenda.
Makes executive decisions when a quorum of members is not available.

Vice President:
Acts for the president when the president is unable to act, and so requests.

Treasurer:
Manages the Club's checking account at Black Hills Federal Credit Union.
Writes checks and has the President sign them.
Collects annual dues (still just $20!).

Secretary:
Maintains the membership roster.
Sends out monthly meeting e-mails.

Webmaster:
Maintains the Club's Web site at http://www.sdwoodworker.org
